Wesley Weekly #30: What is evil, really?

Welcome back to the Wesley Weekly! We only have a few weeks to the end of the semester, hang tight!

What You May Have Missed…

Last week we discussed more arguments for and against religious beliefs. This time we centered our discussion around the argument that an all-powerful, all-good, and all-knowing God wouldn’t allow evil to exist in this world. This prompted the discussion of what counts as evil, which is where we are going this week.

The MSU Wesley Foundation has restructured our Patreon page and we would be grateful if you would check it out! If you would like to donate, please visit our Patreon!

This Week

This Thursday, we are discussing what evil really is and how God can allow evil to exist. If you’re interested in joining us, send us a message to get the link to the Zoom call!

Prayers and Concerns

If there is anything you would like the community to pray for, send us a message, or reach out to us on our social media pages.

Student Thoughts

Q: How many of you actually read the Wesley Weekly?

A: “I’ve missed one or two, but I read the vast majority of them.”

A: “I usually forget about it to be honest. Is there a way you could send it in a newsletter?”

A: “I forget that there is one until someone brings it up.”

A: “I read them all, I get notifications to my email when they get published so I read them then.”

A: “To be honest, I forgot what the link was.”
If you had the link, would you read it?
“Probably.”

If you have something you would like to write for us, or interesting questions you would like to ask us, send us a message on any of our social media or on our contacts page!

That’s all for this week’s edition of Wesley Weekly! Don’t forget to like and follow our Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter pages so you’ll never miss out!
