Wesley Weekly #31: The Ontological Argument

What is a perfect being?

Welcome back to Wesley at MSU! It’s always great to have you here and update you on what we’re going to be discussing this week.

What You May Have Missed…

We finished looking at the problem of evil last week. This argument against religious belief is still a very popular one, so taking time to analyze it thoroughly is important. We talked about what it means to look at this argument from both an intellectual side and an emotional one. Feel free to contact us if you’d like a more detailed understanding of this, or any other subject we’ve discussed.

The MSU Wesley Foundation has restructured our Patreon page and we would be grateful if you would check it out! If you would like to donate, please visit our Patreon!

This Week

This week we are going to be examining the Ontological Argument for God’s existence. It is making an argument based on the idea of being, and specifically the greatest being.
